The certification program improves library services in Minnesota by providing library staff with improved knowledge, skills, and abilities.  These are achieved through effective continuing education sessions and homework that ensures the transfer of learning to real skills.  Better trained and educated library staff improve the image of library employees and libraries.

 

This site has a tremendous amount of information and more is being added each day.  You can learn about the program, see when courses are available, and get connected to your regional certification contacts. These contacts are a key part of the program and they will guide your progress through the program.  For information on those parts of the program still under construction on the site or parts not yet added, please connect with your regional contacts.
